The Geoje Grand Bridge links the southern cities of Busan and Geoje-island. The 8.2km long bridge and immersed tunnel will reduce driving time from 170 minutes to 50 minutes when it opens to the public.

The Machang Grand Bridge links the southern cities of Masan and Changwon facing the Masan Bay in South Gyeongsang Province. The 1.7-kilometer-long bridge will reduce driving time between two regions from 35 minutes to 7 minutes when it opens to the public.

Vam Cong Bridge, to be implemented under ADB/EDCF/Gov., support broader development objectives, principally to facilitate (i) the movement of agricultural products from surplus to deficit area, (ii) flow of consumer goods and agricultural inputs to rural area, and (iii) marketing and export of cash crops and other products. In addition, the Project will meet the governments` objective of completing the improvement of its road transport system, particularly with regard to facilitating trade and improving access to the other neighboring countries.
